Axle load sets everything

A car puts something under a tonne through four contact patches. A loaded delivery truck puts several tonnes through each axle, and a forklift concentrates its load onto small, hard wheels that do not forgive an uneven surface. The whole build-up — excavation depth, stone thickness, paver thickness, joint width — comes off that number.

Why paving rather than a concrete slab
A concrete yard that fails has to be broken out and recast, and the business loses the use of that area for as long as it takes to cure. A paved yard that fails is lifted in the affected square metres, the base is corrected, and the same blocks go back down the same week. On a working site that difference matters more than the rate per square metre does.

How much is a 200m² yard?
R64,000 to R98,000 for car and bakkie loading. A truck-rated build over the same area runs higher because of the depth of stone.
Do you do the line marking?
Yes, quoted as a separate line so you can take it or leave it.
