Paving Wiz lays driveways, patios and pool surrounds in Fish Hoek, Simon’s Town, Kommetjie, Noordhoek, Muizenberg, Glencairn and Scarborough. Installed paving here starts at R230 per square metre, everything included. Two local conditions move a Far South quote: rock close to the surface and wind that strips joint sand.
Far South paving costs

Rock close to the surface
Many Far South plots sit on rock at shallow depth. Sound rock is a better base than anything a contractor can build, so a flat rock shelf can bring the sub-base cost down. Broken or sloping rock does the opposite: it has to be levelled or built up before paving goes on. Paving Wiz digs a test hole during the measure rather than guessing.
Keeping joint sand in against the south-easter
Open joints on an exposed Kommetjie or Scarborough driveway lose their sand to the wind within months. Loose pavers then rock and chip. Joint stabiliser or a sealer, applied at installation, stops that. Paving Wiz costs it in from the start on exposed sites rather than selling it as a repair.
